JOB READY
The JobReady project is conceived as a transnational cooperation project between 5 partners from 5 countries, aimed to fill the gap between the labour market demands and the skills supply in the hospitality sector by developing an innovative and customised short course program, targeting those not in employment (including migrants and disadvantaged people) but seeking to acquire relevant job skills through undertaking specific work-related training in hospitality operations.
To accomplish the objectives of the project, a 4-month training course in hospitality operations will be created and validated, half of which will be delivered in a classroom environment and half as an internship at a local business from the hospitality sector. We will then train 9 trainers to be able to deliver the course and will enrol 90 people with fewer opportunities and from disadvantaged backgrounds to be trained and equipped with the relevant vocational skills and competencies.
